Our Writers

Hebrews 4:12

Biblical Publications is a platform for various writers who share insights and teaching from God's Word. All of them are mature Christians who have been walking with the Lord for many years and have been trained in theology, pastoral care or other areas of God's calling. Their expertise is diverse, and they share their knowledge to the glory of God. "Only one life, 'twill soon be past, only what's done for Christ will last." (C.T. Studd)

Henry Lepke
Henry Lepke and his wife Margaret live near Sydney, Australia. They have followed the Lord for over thirty years, always asking, "What do the Scriptures say?" Before moving into ministry, Henry owned successful communication and manufacturing businesses and enjoyed being a pilot. When he felt it was time for a change, he gained qualifications in theology, pastoral care, counselling and adult education.  Having held positions as elder and pastor, he continues serving the Lord in his retirement as a writer, speaker and musician. Creative PowerPoint Sermons that are interspersed with video clips and gospel songs are his specialty. Henry contributes some of his sermon slides and articles to this site.

Margaret Lepke
Dr. Margaret Lepke is our webmaster and, together with husband Henry, she manages the content of this site. Margaret enjoys being a wife, mother, grandmother and friend, but even more so she enjoys advancing the cause of Christ as  a mentor, speaker and writer. Her professional training includes qualifications in natural medicine, counselling and mentoring, communication and human relations, research, adult education, theology and biblical studies. Margaret is a member of several writers groups and likes to share the gospel in a conversational style. She also blogs at Dr. Margaret's Treasure Chest and, in a sense, her testimony is also our testimony as it is the beginning of her family's journey in Christ, eventually leading to this website.

John R Ecob
Dr. John R Ecob spent his working life as a design and project engineer, concluding his career as General Manager of The First Australia/China Consortium, which was formed to take the Australian Construction Industry to Mainland China. He has lectured in Marketing at the University of NSW, studied Evangelism at John Ridley's Institute, studied at the NSW Baptist Theological College, and pastored Balmain Baptist Church. He holds a Doctorate of Divinity from the European Theological Seminary and since 1998 has been serving God as Editor of Herald of Hope, Australia's leading Bible Prophecy Magazine. Dr Ecob has also been involved in conference ministries and has written many books that are available through the Herald of Hope website. He has contributed a couple of encouraging poems to this site, as well as his latest work, Eternity to Eternity, which is available as a free eBook. His theology is conservative, dispensational-premillennial in eschatology, non-charismatic and Bible centred.

Wendy Davie
Mrs. Wendy Davie was editor-in chief of The Heart of a Woman magazine, copies of which are now available on this site as free PDF files. For many years, she was involved with women's ministries until the Lord called her husband home in 2009. Finally, she attended Emmaus Bible College in Sydney, the fulfillment of a longstanding dream. Wendy has been a writer for many years and is sharing her inspirational stories, poems and bible studies on the Internet at www.creaturesofpraise.weebly.com. She has kindly contributed her previously published Bible Study and associated Handbook Acceptance & Obedience for free distribution.

June Young
Mrs. June Young has been studying God's Word for 36 years and has a special interest in prophecies concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. She is married with three grown children and has five grandchildren to whom she models the attributes of a godly woman. June loves the Lord with all her heart and is always careful to search for evidence that is consistent with all of what the Bible has to say on a particular topic. Her Bible is bursting with handwritten notes and added pages, and she  is a constant encouragement to the women in her Bible studies. June prefers to journal but has co-authored a book with Margaret Lepke, her best friend.
Other writers will be added as they contribute their material for free distribution.

Lest anyone should deceive you with persuasive words... (Col. 2:4)
